A: In addition to being biodegradable, RMERME also fulfills various functional requirements during actual packing use. We believe that achieving greenness should not come at the expense of functionality.
A: Biodegradation is one aspect of compostability. Biodegradable simply means that an item will break down over time through natural processes. To be certified as compostable, a product must decompose into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass within a specified time frame (usually around 180 days) according to composting standards. It also needs to pass ecotoxicity tests to ensure that the composted end product does not have adverse chemical effects. Our firms have received industrial composting certification, meeting standards such as EN13432.
